I am originally from Mexico City and have been living in the United States for the past 20 years. My parents decided to send me here so I could learn English. It wasn't easy in the beginning. I had to learn many things, from a new language to excelling in school, making new friends, and assimilating into American culture. But through perseverance and hard work, I was fortunate enough to receive a prestigious full-ride scholarship that gave me the opportunity to attend the University of Colorado and even participate in a study abroad program in France.

Out of all the organizations I've worked for, my first job at ACE Scholarships has been the most meaningful one. On one hand, I encountered many families living below the poverty line, and on the other hand, I met incredible donors—both men and women—who generously provided monetary contributions to help students attend a private school of their choice. It was at ACE Scholarships that I truly understood the importance of giving back and helping others, and the value of providing a "hand up, not a handout." This realization is what makes the United States one of the greatest countries in the world.

I find myself in a position where I've had the opportunity to learn and grow through various experiences. Working at different organizations has given me tremendous experience and taught me valuable lessons in resilience. I believe that personal and professional success is built upon character, integrity, honesty, and a hunger for growth. These qualities form the foundation for achieving one's goals. They say that the US is the land of opportunity, where dreams can become a reality by focusing on the little things that require zero talent—being punctual, having a strong work ethic, showing effort and energy, expressing passion, going the extra mile, being prepared, being open to coaching, and maintaining a positive attitude.

I thrive on challenges and have a deep desire to continue learning and growing, both personally and professionally. My life is driven by a sense of servitude, and I am committed to making a positive difference in the lives of others. I hope that my journey serves as an inspiring message to the world, showcasing the power of determination and the impact one individual can make.
